Liverpool’s player transfer value is almost 40 times what it was a year ago

The value of a Liverpool first-team player has skyrocketed in the last year, with the star’s estimated transfer value increasing by 4000%.

Her technician Liverpool, Jurgen Klopphas earned a reputation as a… talent breeder, with almost everyone who joins his team seeing a huge improvement in their game.

The Reds will greatly miss the German’s ability to develop the club’s young talent, with the recent Carabao Cup triumph over Chelsea the stark proof after the experienced manager fielded an extremely young squad.

One of Kloppo’s substitutes in the match, Jarrell Kwanza (who came on for Konate) has been on a phenomenal rise this season and this is reflected in his transfer value.

Last April, the 21-year-old was valued at €400,000 by transfermarkt, but after 20 appearances in all competitions, his estimated value has risen to €15m.

Almost 40 times its value since 11 months ago!

Kwanza has been given a chance to shine thanks to Liverpool’s participation in the Europa League and has featured in 9 Premier League games this season, including a start against Manchester City at Anfield.

A more recent example of Klopp’s leadership skills is one of Liverpool’s latest signings, Edo. Klopp signed the 30-year-old midfielder from Stuttgart in the summer and there were considerable reservations about whether he could fill Fabinho’s void, but the Japan international has been impressive.
