Atalanta fell into crisis after being held to a 2-2 draw at home to Verona. Fiorentina were also tied.

Despite leading 2-0, the Bergamo team drew 2-2 at home against Verona and fell behind in the Champions League, as they are -4 to Roma and -8 to Bologna. Atalanta came on strong, pressed and in five minutes took a two-goal lead. In the 13th minute Skamaka opened the scoring and in the 18th minute Andersson made it 2-0. However, the visitors equalized with a terrific four minutes, from 56′ to 60′, thanks to goals from Lazovic and Noslin. The visitors thus got out of the danger zone.

“Laughter” to Fiorentina

Genoa were held to a 1-1 draw in Florence by Fiorentina, making the Viola’s task for Europe more difficult. The home team came in stronger, pressed but missed chances with Belotti. In fact, a goal by the Italian striker from Fiorentina in the 25th minute was disallowed. Genoa at their best in the 40th minute won a penalty and Gudmundsson made it 1-0. The “Violas” entered the replay strongly and in the 54th minute Bonaventura crossed from the left and Icone made it 1-1 with a header. In the 68th minute, Fiorentina came close, but Madragora’s shot hit the post.
