Continuation of the scandal in the Polish team. The athlete revealed the brutal behind-the-scenes. Serious allegations against the coach

Kinga Rajda is the most successful Polish ski jumper so far. She has 138 World Cup points, while the second in this ranking, Nikol Konderla, has 25. The third place, Karpiel, scored only 10 points. Therefore, when the beginning of March 2023 Kinga Rajda announced her decision to end her career just after the World Championships in Planica, It was a big shock for the entire community. The Pole took 23rd place on the large hill, equaling the best result in the history of Polish women’s ski jumping.

I had already decided that this was my last competition and I think it was easier for me to jump. I wanted to enjoy it, to remember it. The jumps were fun. Thank you!

~ she said right after the Rally competition.

The athlete was only 22 years old at the time. Already then, there was a lot of talk about the terrible atmosphere in the ski jumping team. Brutal behind the scenes of the ski jumping team. Serious allegations against Kruczek

Now, after several good months, the topic of Kinga Rajda has returned. In an interview with TVP Sport, the coach of the women’s team Harald Rodlauer announced that he would like her and Kamila Karpiel to return to ski jumping. He was to contact them and try to persuade them to return. On this occasion, the ski jumper gave a long, honest interview to the “Skoki Polska” portal, in which she revealed the brutal behind-the-scenes of the group’s functioning and made several very serious accusations against Łukasz Kruczek and Nikola Konderla, whom he allegedly favored.

“A good example of favoritism could be seen at every competition when the coach was a delegate. In strange circumstances, I jumped in the worst conditions, had changing winds or total gusts, in which I saved myself from falling. Is it normal? For example, the FIS Cup in Szczyrk, which I could win against the coach’s favorite. Such situations lead to a total lack of trust in both my coach and other players. “Suits that were subject to inspection ‘at your mercy’, had to be sewn privately, or skis that did not arrive at my competitions if I decided to stay where I was and train in the country with another trainer,” Rajda said.

The former ski jumper went a step further.

There were Nicole Konderla training “secretly” with the hope that the rest of the group would not find out about additional training sessions at the Central Sports Center, sports school or on the promenade, trips to the wind tunnel to Sweden, apparently privately… No one from the team had such an idea presented. What’s more? Meeting half an hour before training to analyze the difference in sports scholarships from universities where the coach was a club coach. Differences in the thousands

What about getting back into the squad? A clear declaration

King Rajda he had already said that the last years in the national team had a strong impact on her psyche and she would not like to experience it again. “I don’t want to go back to the ‘acid’ that destroyed me mentally,” she said.

What’s more, she didn’t really like Rodlauer’s attempt at contact.

I received a message from Stefan Hula via Instagram. It is difficult to consider such proposals seriously in a situation where my telephone number and e-mail address are still listed in the Polish Ski Association. I don’t want to seem like someone who doesn’t reply to the coach because that’s how it was presented in the media. Thank you for the new coach’s interest in my return, but I don’t see this possibility anymore

~ declared the former Polish representative.
