13 Barcelona forced and now Paris and “Clasico” (vid)

With Joao Felix’s reverse scissors and… alternative line-up, Barcelona passed the home ground of Cádiz (1-0) and rose to -8 from Real Madrid, a week ago with the rematch against Paris Saint-Germain and the “Clasico”.

Barcelona caught… 13 goals. With enough power, the Blaugrana left with the “double” from “Nuevo Mirandia” from Cadiz (1-0), reached 13 consecutive matches without defeat (ten wins – three draws) and brought back to -8 from Real Madrid, a week ago – guy with the rematch for the quarter-finals of the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain (Tuesday 16/04, 22:00) and “Clasico” with the queen at “Santiago Bernabeu” (Sunday 21/04, 22:00).

Mauricio Pellegrino fielded his team with the best he has, as there is no space and luxury to “pick” games from the home team, in the battle they are fighting to avoid relegation.

Only three players (!) made a “repeat” compared to the match in Paris (Marc – Andre Ter Stegen, Pau Coubertin, Sergi Roberto), where Xavi (suspended and from the bench again) does not count Joao Cancelo due to suspension, Inigo Martinez and Robert Lewandowski.

João Félix blocked her with a goal

The visitors had control of the ball and the tempo from the start, but without threatening Heremias Ledsma’s goal. Vitor Roque, who got a chance after some time, tried unsuccessfully to assert himself.

A one-on-one shot from Joao Felix was Barca’s first-half highlight, but Cádiz really threatened with Javi Hernandez’s powerful shot forcing Ter Stegen into a difficult save.

Lots of long and pointless shots from the Blaugrana that got to the goal by mistake… from a cross – Hector Fort’s shot almost caught Ledesma, who could do nothing in the 36th minute, to Joao’s close bagkas Felix for 0- 1.

Against his favorite victim (six goals in five games), the Portuguese reached ten goals as a Blaugrana, matching his two most prolific seasons with Atlético Madrid (2020-21 and 2021-22), but with a month to go and set full of toys.

Felix’s goal brought some relief to the visitors, who grabbed another goal before the break, Fermin Lopez’s volley at the far post, which Viktor Chust cleared on the line.

Samaseku made it 1-1

In the second half, the Andalusians were forced to risk a little more, they exerted some pressure, but without worrying the Catalans, who missed two good chances with Ferran Torres Joao Felix.

After completing an hour of play, Xavi opted to give Gilles Coute, Pedri and Lamin Yamal half an hour to keep them “warm”.

The 16-year-old quickly made his presence felt and was stopped by Ledesma after a combination with Fermin Lopez, while on the move Felix got another touch on target and his shot from the height of the box stopped at the Cádiz goal post.

The guests constantly forgave 0-2 and almost paid for it. Last year’s Olympiakos player, Diadie Samasekou, came on as a substitute in the 77th minute and two minutes later he scored the equaliser, with Ter Stegen impressively saving his very good shot.

Cádiz fought until the end without a result and Barca got a victory that keeps their psychology high but certainly does not change the facts dramatically in the race for this year’s La Liga title…
