A 48-year-old mother was found brutally murdered in her car in northern Spain. The main suspects in the murder are her two stepsons

Two Russian teenagers have been arrested in Spain accused of killing their stepmother in a crime that has shocked the country. THAT Silvia Lopez Gayubas48, was found dead on Wednesday night in Urdiales Castle, Cantabria, where her body was found inside a car in the garage of her family home, according to local newspaper El Diario Montañés.

The mother was found with a bag on her head, bound, strangled and stabbed in the trunk of the car. The first evidence shows that the 16-year-old hit his stepmother in the neck with a sharp object, probably a knife.

El Español reported that she was spotted around 21, before Ms Spanish militia begins to search the area for his two missing teenage children, who are originally from Russia. Spanish authorities set up roadblocks on major highways and eventually found the two children on a hill in Cotolino Park after a search that ended around 10 p.m.

The teenagers -whose notes were 15 and 13 years old- they allegedly posed as kidnap victims, which they allegedly called their grandmother. The boys’ father reportedly worked through the night. “He didn’t believe it. He was devastated,” a source told El Diario.

As El Correro notes, the court of inquiry in Santander agreed to the “imprisonment” of the eldest child for six months. According to information, he will be admitted to the Parayas Youth Social-Educational Center. Since the youngest child is 13 years old, he is too young to be charged according to El Diario. The report said both children were adopted from Russia and were transferred to the command of the armed institute in Santander after the alleged crime.

The youngest child entered a child protection center and was waiting to be transferred to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, where he would undergo a psychosocial examination, according to El Diario. There were no prior complaints against the family and no reports of prior domestic violence, according to reports. Susana Eran, the mayor of Castro, expressed his “disappointment at this tragic news”according to El Diario.
