Kolossos (8-13) came back from -20 against Prometheus (13-8) but failed to complete the upset against Patrinas, who prevailed 84-79 and now turn to the “final” with AEK for qualification to the quarterfinals of the BCL.

Prometheus saw the struggling Colossus of Rhodes come back from -20 down to take a 9-point lead with 4:19 left in regulation when Andrew Goudlock made it 61-70. After all, Cameron Reynolds’ big shot and Koloveros’ foul on Koniaris Patrinos gave the opportunity to send the game to overtime.

The home team won there 84-79 and established themselves in the top four. Prometheus now turns to the match against AEK (20/3, 19:30) in Ano Liosia, which will decide the qualification for the quarter-finals of the BCL.

Kolossos had a disastrous first quarter in Patras, scoring just 4 points on 1/16 shooting from the field! In fact, Chris Coffey shot the difference to +20 (44-24, 23′) for the team of Ilias Papatheodorou, who were in absolute control!

In any case, the colossus had not said the last word, and found solutions by the long shot. Andrew Goudlock scored seven points in a row for Kolossos at the end of the third period (58-48, 30′), which kept the Rhodesians upright.
